Whether it's in Ohio, the Midwest or elsewhere in Florida, Amy can line up the sale of your current home with the build or closing date at Gatherpoint. That way you move once and don't carry two mortgages longer than you have to.

  • Pricing, prep and listing handled remotely if you're already down here.

Before you visit

Five things to settle before you sign

  1. Register your agent on visit oneMany builders require your agent to be with you (or registered) at your first visit to the sales center.
  2. Get every fee in writingHOA, CDD or stewardship district, club dues and any capital contribution. Compare total monthly cost, not just price.
  3. Price the incentive, not the adClosing-cost help or a rate buydown often requires the builder's lender. Ask what the same money is worth as a price reduction.
  4. Lot premiums & optionsLake, preserve and golf lots cost more, and so do design-studio upgrades. Budget for both.
  5. InspectionsHire your own inspector pre-drywall and before closing, and again before the 1-year warranty ends.
